Simple Man By B.K. Birch Dear simple man Does the lady know how you dance To keep her happy, her selfish desires fulfilled? Does she care at all about your heart your angst, your worries, your passions or repulsions? You toil each day In the bowels of commerce You dress her in silk, linen, and fancy bobbles. Bewitched by sexual perfection you waltz to a subtle symphony, immersed in her poison perfume, and she declares her love for you. Too drunk with her laughter to suffer the indifference in her touch. Mesmerized by the curve of her bosom, unable to feel her heart yearning for more. Where does that leave you Dear simple man? |
