Peonies
By Natasha S. Garnett

Bow deeply oh sweet blooms
A pleasure in the yard
Red as my love's parted lips
Pink as her cheeks at noon

White as her hands at noon
The sweet blooms in the yard
She raises the watering can
To shake a shower at noon

Sway gently blooms of June
Sweet treasure in the yard
She gazes with her leaf green eyes
At blossoms in the noon

Bow deeply oh bright blooms
Red, pink, and white full blown
She praises beauty in the yard
My sweet love in the noon
