Framed Gift By Sheila McLaughlin Sikorski A thorn amid five roses is the way Patrick described the photo taken of us siblings for our mother's 70th. He sits between Monica and Jane; Sheila, Mary, Maureen stand behind him. We all grin. But there is a space among us and the face we all still see is not in this picture. Mom will see him too, as she places her gift on her hallway wall. |
