Contributors' Bios Catalina Florescu - In 2006, Catalina-Florina Florescu won a Purdue Research Grant for her proposal, The Acquisition of the Body’s Language(s): An Interdisciplinary Study in Literature, Art, and Bioethics. In the summer of 2007, she earned her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Purdue University with a dissertation entitled, Transacting Sites of the Liminal Bodily Spaces. Starting in the fall of 2007, she has joined Rutgers University as a lecturer of Expository Writing. She is currently conducting her research on a book whose title is Mothers in Theater, Cinema and Art: The Reversal of the Maternal Image. Rebecca Ward - Rebecca Ward, age 16, is a sophomore at Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, PA. In addtion to achieving Highest Honors for all semesters, Rebecca has played on the high school's soccer, basketball, and track teams. Rebecca plays the piano, and she also plays violin for the Mt. Lebanon High School Symphony Orchestra. She is active with the French Club, "Best Buddies," Emergency Club, and "Odyssey of the Mind." Rebecca has also participated in the Memoir Writing Apprenticeship Program at the University of Pittsburgh. Madonna Dries Christensen - Madonna Dries Christensen is the author of Swinging Sisters, and, Masquerade: The Swindler Who Conned J. Edgar Hoover.
